Default I am unable to play Q´s

Cryptologic
No Limit Holdem Ring game
Blinds: $2/$5
5 players
Converter

Stack sizes:
UTG: $1105.30
Hero: $641.70
Button: $493
SB: $597.35
BB: $336.45

Pre-flop: (5 players) Hero is CO with Q[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] Q[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img]
UTG calls, <font color="#cc0000">Hero raises to $23</font>, Button folds, <font color="#cc0000">SB raises to $60</font>, 2 folds, Hero calls.

Flop: 8[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] 4[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] 4[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] ($130, 2 players)
<font color="#cc0000">SB bets $90</font>, Hero calls.

Turn: 2[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] ($310, 2 players)
<font color="#cc0000">SB bets $215</font>.

I have no read on Villain. I think shoving/folding and call/call are all valid options here.

By just calling on flop you are resigned to recieveing a large bet on turn. Would it not be better to make a raise to $200 and find out where you are? He might fold, best option. If he calls he has a made hand like JJ. If he has KK or AA he is probably going to come over the top of you. In My experience flat calling all the way down is a bad way to play an over pair as you never know where you are in a hand. If he flat calls you should bet the hand all the way down trying to get all your chips in. You are going to have the best hand in this situation most of the time. He could easily have AK and be buling you. This is definatly how i would play the hand as all you can be scared of is 88 AA or KK all of which he is likely to come over the top of you with and if he dis you can then lay the hand down.

I have no idea where I am on the flop in this spot, so I'm opting for a raise.

By the turn it looks like he is basically committing you if you call, and it looks really tough. You beat AK and 99-jj, but you lose to 8's and AA,KK, pretty marginal. It looks like a call wouldn't really be too bad on the turn and hopefully check it down on the river.
