he's amazing.. I'd be a bit concerned if I was a Lakers fan though.. they're squeaking by bad teams with Kobe's monster performances.. is this the best thing for the team? (1 assist tonight for KB24)

the lakers are best when kobe is sharing IMO

they played a game against the celtics where kobes had 2 pts and 8 assists at one point....all the assists led to dunks or easy layups.

hes so talented and sees the floor so well.

hes like a poor mans steve nash.

I'm not sure if I agree with this.. Going off against the Grizzlies and Blazers might be enough to grind out a win, but if he has the same mentality against better teams, it's not going to work.. first off, even if he can score 50-60 against the top teams, they'll still lose, and it's unlikely he'll do this well against a good defensive team.. They took the Suns to the brink last year with Kobe taking less shots, I think that's the key for the Lakers if they want to do it again.

Kobe is wayyyyyyyyy more talented, but Nash is a better basketball player.

The Lakers are something like 16-5 when Kobe scores over 50. He didn't go off against the Suns b/c the Suns had no centers, so they got easy points by posting up Brown/Odom/even Walton ffs. If the Lakers and Suns play again this year and Stoudemire/Thomas are healthy, I imagine we'll be seeing a very different Kobe.

they had been in quite a slump before Kobe decided to take over. They've won all 4 games during Kobe's streak. Not sure what else you can ask for. As for it being against "bad teams", New Orleans is pretty good when they're healthy(they were tonight), NO is fighting for a playoff spot so they definitely were playing hard, and the game was in NO.
