Default 5/10.. Weird spot in the blinds..

Dealt A[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img]Q[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] in the SB, eff. stacks are $1000.

Folded to TAG button who raises to $35. I make it $135. BB who is a regular and decent, calls. Button folds.

Flop A[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img]3[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img]6[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] (pot= $305)
I bet $220, villain calls.

Turn 5[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] (pot= $745)
Check, check.

River 8[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] (pot= $745, stacks= $645)
I check, villain pushes...

I think the worst hand you're up against here is AQ. I'd fold.

I would think you are checking to induce a shove given turn play, no?

I edited my initial post cause I am partially retarded and don't know how to read.

Why check the turn? As played this is pretty close, you can probably call though.

Too many people are just quoting one another without giving any decent ranges and thinking processes of this hand.

If you push this river you are basically repping air vs. somebody who is a little capable of reading hands. If he views you as solid he doesn't expect you to push TT-KK at this point. He does expect you to push AA/AK/AQ, and maybe some sort of air?? So I really don't see any value in pushing, plz explain what villain would think if you push here, what hands would he put you on?
