Default Re: Standard play with weak kicker?

I raise flop here and call down a 3bet. Villain is more likely to think you are FOS and making a move with a lone club if you raise the flop rather than the turn. He is definitely getting to showdown with any pair and might spazz with a weaker A or K[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] or something. I think you are ahead the majority of the time when a LAGgish guy donks this flop.

Not putting in a raise somewhere in this hand is missing a ton of value, imo. A guy with 18PFR isn't going to be limping a better ace. You're really only worried about A3, 33, or a flopped flush, and I doubt these hands get donked on the flop often. Any T or PP is probably calling down, and you charge FD's an extra bet to draw.

i dont understand why people think he's going to bet the river. we have him beat, I dont see the point of letting him get the min in until he misses his draw and may not put anymore money in or realizes he cant bluff you
