Hi guys, I'm kinda lost with this hand. I'd hate raising 3BB and getting 1 or 2 callers and a flop with overs. How do you play this?

thx, jak

Limp, call a reasonable raise (2.5BB-3, maybe 4) and see a flop IMO. Raising is OK, but considering the stacks and still earlyness of it, limping seems good here more than raising as the table doesn't seem to push dependent with the blinds right now.

Well, pushing is unexploitable, so push if unsure

My view is that this is horrible, but YMMV. I guess you're going to CRAI on < 10 high flops, and obviously with a set you're laughing, but what's your plan with an overcard? What kind of flop bar all unders are you liking? Given that a raiser will probably bet everything, how are you deciding whether to continue? The reason I think your play is horrible is that I don't think I have the odds for a safe flop, and I can't see myself folding on many unsafe ones! So given that I'm getting it in on most flops, I don't see why I wouldn't take advantage of my fold equity.

Even if everyone at the table is willing to call with 88+, AJo+, ATs+ its not +EV to push here.

Limp/fold for setvalue.

I would limp for the set value and pretty much give up if two overcards hit or I ended up in a multiway pot with one overcard showing. If you limp, and someone raises, you can shove depending on your read of the player/who is left to act etc.
