Re: NL100 AA WTFFF
more pf, more on turn, fold river.
I've been thinking lately that betting more on turn prices us in on the river when he hits. Any thoughts about that ? Also why should we check turn behind Noah ? |

Re: NL100 AA WTFFF
Do not check the turn. Pot control should be used in WA/WB situations and this ain't it. And you need to bet more than half-pot to deny odds to draws.
Folding river is probably correct, but sometimes I will call it. They only have to be bluffing 1 out of 3 times for a call to be correct. [ QUOTE ] I've been thinking lately that betting more on turn prices us in on the river when he hits. Any thoughts about that ? [/ QUOTE ] That's just fine as long as you bet enough on the turn. If we bet $35 we'll have $51 left. Villain is getting 3.5:1 implied odds on a call if we plan to stack off on any river. If he's on a flushdraw he's losing money by making that call. He needs around 13 outs for a call to be correct in that case. |

Re: NL100 AA WTFFF
Fold. I don't hate the turn bet tho, I presume it was smaller to manage the pot, it has still priced out the flush draw with 1 card to come. Maybe a little larger would look less weak but I don't think you've left yourself too open to a bluff on the river.

Re: NL100 AA WTFFF
In this situation checking back turn is trying to get a rivercall from JJ, TT, (99), QJ and AQ.
IMO flush draws are a small part of villains range here, until proven otherwise in 3-bet pots. |
