Default Trouble getting paid on PokerStars ?

For the first time, I did not get a check I requested. That checked had to be cancelled and they issued me another check, which I did receive.

Now, it looks like I'm not receiving yet another check.

Has this been happening to others -- either delays or not getting a check altogether ?

Thanks, I'm a bit concerned/curious.

It does happen, but the cheques are sent out. It's down to the postal service. If you ask support about it, they'll be able to tell you the exact timeline of what happened to the money internally (i.e, when it was reviewed, when it was sent to be processed, when it went to the post service), but after that it's down to the post service.

There's not a lot PS can do about that, except issue you with another cheque if the first doesn't arrive.

Yep. I'm in the same boat. My experiences with check withdraws from Stars may even be worse than yours.

Passing the buck to the USPS is just unacceptable. I have had maybe one or two letters lost my entire life. Now I have like 4 or 5 in a couple of months. Just doesn't happen, sorry. For two of the checks that Stars cancelled for me they said they were returned as undeliverable. Very odd since I do receive the odd check from them now and then and my address has not changed and is accurate.

Sciolist,

Do you know why courier delivery of checks is no longer an option? I would pay a rediculous premium to have my checks delivered by courier.

How about Europe? Is courier delivery also unavailable there or does this new restriction apply only to Americans?

Only Americans. This isn't my department, but my impression is that it's down to how the cheque processor works for USD cheques. For people outside of the US, cheques can still be sent by courier.

Well it looks like I'll be doing a second round of check cancellations with Stars. I'd feel better if they told me "Look, the payment situation is really [censored] right now. We don't know what the [censored] is going on". Instead they say "Well looks like the USPS has lost another letter. That's 4 in 2 months for you. You're just running bad, it's not rigged. Cheers!"

I'm beginning to see how people with money stuck in Neteller feel.
