Default Mirage and seven stud

I'm planning on being in Vegas during the 28th of May. I wanna play a little bit of Seven Stud while I'm out there. I looked on the Mirage website and they claim that they offer 1-5, and 5-10 stud. I've read some posters saying that all they spread regularly is 1-5, and I was actually looking to play at something like 10-20 instead of 5-10. Will I be able to a find a game like this at the Mirage, if not where should I plan on playing at?

1-5 stud is regular enough at the Mirage, but at this point you probably wont find any other stud games until you play 20/40 at the Bellagio.

Hmmm. 20/40 is a little outside of my bankroll. Does the Venetian or some other similar casino offer about a 10/20 game? I don't necessarily have to play at the Mirage, I just enjoyed playing Hold em there the last time, and figured if I could play stud there for those limits it would be nice. But 20/40 at Bellagio is outside of my bankroll. Guess I'll just have to play hold em unless I can get recommended another casino.

No.

Bellagio and Mirage as stated above, are your only options.

Stud is simply dead in Las Vegas. You can find 1 or 2 games of 1-5 stud at the Mirage, 1 or 2 games of 20-40 stud at the Bellagio, and maybe a 50-100 stud game at the Bellagio.

That makes me sad. Stud was the first poker I played in Vegas in 2003. When I got a little better, I played the 5/10 and (when I felt brave) the 10/20 at the Mirage in 2004 and very early 2005. The 5/10 tended to have four or five regulars who knew one another, and a few tourists/visitors who brought in some looser money. The 10/20 seemed like it was all locals. I miss those games, in particular one regular nicknamed the Turk (if that rings any bells).

There was definitely a 50/100 game going at Bellagio when I was there this last weekend.
