"flip" denotes 50/50 gamble where no edge for either participant exists.
Shoving predraw in NLTD, and then drawing where 1 participant doesn't understand the goal of the game, and another does and exercises his option to draw is no where near 50/50 and thus not a flip. Not sure what type of edge it produces but it seems like it would have to be at least 60/40. At it's essence, it's precisely the same as pulling a grimmstar or whoever that was. A flip (then in NLHE) was agreed to before hand, grim utilized his 'skill' of hand selection and folded a bad hand, and thus gained an edge in what was supposed to be an even-money gamble. He said "let's FLIP for $25". not "let's play no-bet, no-fold NL triple draw for 1 hand for $25", which is what happened, and is not at all synonymous.
