Board texture and villain stats make it almost impossible for him to be bluffing here. I'd just lay it down

Yeah in my video I was pretty sure I should fold but like a station I am I got it in

You got unlucky to hit a Q on the turn because it blinded you to the fact that it didnt help your relative range at all. KQ in this spot is the same as every other K.

i think i mentioned that in the video (in the brew) in the back of my head my hand is so much stronger but still not against his range it blinds me. if the turn is a T and he raises its the easiest bet fold ever.

Check the turn. Its not like a 17/13 going to have a worse king here and this is the driest board there can be. He is either floating, or has you crushed.

I think is the worst advice yet so far. Check fold? Check Call?

Bet fold is soo much better

ama's dead on right IMHO - I used to overplay these spots.
you beat KJ-, split KQ and AK/AA is unlikely because of the preflop action and board is so dry only JT can semi-bluff but I think this is a set 66/22 so I fold - I still bet turn though.

I'm actually considering a turn c/call - induces bluffs from weaker Kx and JT/PPs and we may spike a K/Q and stack the top of his range-sets -just a thought.

i dont like a turn cc because as i already said the Q doesnt improve your hand vs his range. the reason i like betting the turn better is because he cant raise hands which you are beating (smaller K's and AA) unless he wants to turn them into a bluff, but at the same time cant just call hands which you are behind like sets because of the rapidly worsening board texture. so if you cc here, you have to really, really hope that he checks behind the river because if he doesn't, you're gonna be facing a big river bet almost always with no idea where you stand.

by betting the turn you win the pot now against hands like JJ or lesser K's, but the huge advantage is that you dont lose any more money against hands which can't afford to slowplay anymore (sets). whereas cc turn then cf river is exactly the same price as bf, but much weaker and less informative. i think bf turn is best.
