Default Nitty AQ River fold? NL$100

Early in match, maybe 15 hands in so no real reads unfortunately.

Villain is 40/25/2

Full Tilt No-Limit Hold'em, $1 BB (2 handed) Full-Tilt Converter Tool from FlopTurnRiver.com (Format: FlopTurnRiver)

Hero ($115.60)
Button ($108.10)

Preflop: Hero is BB with Q, A.
[color=#CC3333]Button raises to $3.5, [color=#CC3333]Hero raises to $10, Button calls $6.

Flop: ($19.50) 9, Q, T [color=#0000FF](2 players)
[color=#CC3333]Hero bets $14, Button calls $14.

Turn: ($47.50) 3 [color=#0000FF](2 players)
Hero checks, Button checks.

River: ($47.50) K [color=#0000FF](2 players)
Hero checks, [color=#CC3333]Button bets $23, Hero folds.

Final Pot: $47.50

OK - so two things. First I'm thinking I def shoulda bet the turn, don't know why I didn't, seems like clearly the best play. 2nd I'm folding this river b/c it screams value but mostly b/c I've been making way too many calls on river value bets thus am prolly playing a lil soft. These mistakes on both streets?

Note - my standard flop bet is a lil bigger.

This board definitely hit his hand since it's a 3 bet pot . Your hand rates to be better than his range so I would have made a psb . On the turn , I would continue to lead out until he convinces me that I'm beat .

In this specific circumstance, the k is one of the worst cards for you since it's likely part of his range . I don't have a problem folding as you can be beat in several ways : He either has top pair/possibly two pair or he's made the straight .

I usually reraise a bit more preflop (3.5-4x the size of the initial raise).

I would definitely bet again on the turn, to get value out of hands like QK and JJ.

As played, I think you have to fold the river. You're now losing to QK, JJ, and AK which make up a sizable portion of his range given the action.

Good fold on river, you don't really beat anything that calls a flop bet now that the K fell and connects with a lot of drawing/2 pair hands. If he's calling you semi-light on the flop, he's checking for showdown on this board with all the hands you beat and betting the hands you don't.

I'd bet the turn though and make it a bit more PF (13 or something) as mentioned.
