Default Simple Anti-Virus Question

I have a Macbook Pro, and I have partitioned my hard drive so I can run both Vista and the Mac OS.

Being that I have installed Norton 360 on the Vista side of the machine, does this also protect me from viruses etc when I am computiing using the Mac OS?

Thanks for your help.

Default Re: Simple Anti-Virus Question

No, running any software on the windows side will be hidden from the mac side. However, I've never found a mac expert who ran any malware protection at all. It's kinda baffling. I guess there really just isn't any malware to be protected from.

Mac experts, PLEASE tell me if I'm wrong.
