Default NL25 - Time to Fold Aces?

No hands with villain...so no read.
I've seen a lot of nasty stuff at this level, so I hate throwing away overpairs...but this seems like a good time to do it.

Oh man,
that's a tough spot. I play $25NL myself and I see them play 62o for a raise oop every day. On the other hand, those guys are entirely capable of calling JT on this flop and then go wild with TPBK.

I guess, I fold here and just keep waiting, because people will throw their money at you in spots where you have a lot easier decisions.

my $0.02

I would call this for sure. I think you will see something like KJ AJ maybe QJ or J10 most of the time here.

having a read in this case would make your decision a lot easier as well.

Yeah I agree w/ just calling down here on the river, what you should have down was repop him on the turn to force him to make a decision, not you.

I also think your seeing Jx alot here and even maybe A2. Either way I just flat the river and take a note of what he had

It would be awfully sick value bluffing the turn and river.

It's as close to a postflop fold on a non-superscary board that there is with Aces at 25nl.

I don't find this to be a sick spot at all. With no reads I'd probably push here. He's likely terrible(open limp c/o) and could easily have called QJcc and caught a pair. Pretty unlikely he has a set because JJ raises preflop and only set he can have is 66. I just don't give credit to people on 22x flops, short of flopping a set it's one of the best boards (esp HU) that you can ask for.

I put villain on Jx and raise the turn. as played, call the river for the same reason.

Note that villain cannot have A2s FWIW.

Edit: need to reread my own advice. "raise the river for the same reason". Given stack sizes you won't be worrying about a RR, and will get called by Jx.

I think calling is awful here. Time to ship it all with a fistpump.
