Garden City brings back Omaha-8
Garden City has returned Omaha-8. The game is 6-12 with no kill (not sure what it was before), with a whopping $6 rake for full table.
Funny scene last night: Bay 101 dealer playing, at showdown has AK77. His opponent has something like A346, and the board is like 533T2. Bay101 Dealer spends 10 minutes trying to claim half of the low pot. "He's counterfitted, can't you see WE HAVE THE SAME LOW". He challenges anyone "any amount of money" that he is right, calls the floor over, argues with HIM... Finally he concedes, but still not convinced. I'm looking forward to playing this game more. :-)

[/ QUOTE ] So that is officially the highest rake in all of the Bay Area, isn't it? Why would you play O8 at GC instead of O8 at Bay101 where the rake is $4 (or is it $5)?
