I saw Fiona Apple live when she was opening for Coldplay (prolly a beat for several reasons AFAIK) and she sucked. Like really goddamned bad. She forgot the words to her own songs and seemed to not know how to play the piano. And when she remembered the words and could actually play the songs, they still sounded terrible.
