Default Brag or Beat???? Being a manchild

Right now Im watching a Mike Tyson show on classic sports (highly recommended) and they keep bringing up the fact that he is 19 years old.... WTF !?!?!?

see also Greg Oden

WHile you are able to bully others your age and dominate sports, do the disadvantages outweigh the pros?

Tyson was a [censored] animal who crushed everyone from 19 to 23. I love watching those old fights on espn classic. IMO at that age he was the best boxer ever.

top athletes shouldnt go to prison. think of all the great fights we missed while mike was in jail for beating his wife, recounted by the perpetrator himself as, "DAT BITCH FLEW ACROSS DA ROOM!"

denying society of his matches in the prime of his career, that's the real crime. and also, NO NEW TAXES!

vote im a model for american president. thank you.

Mike never got in trouble for beating Robin Givens. He went to prison for raping Desiree Washington at the Miss Black America pageant in Indianapolis.

He wasn't in the prime of his career. He was getting lazy and undisciplined in and out of the ring, which is how he had lost his title and lost his freedom.

But he only fought hamanaggars. Tyson is only given so much credit because he is an extreme offensive style fighter and exciting to watch. But if you take someone like Ali who is a defensive fighter it takes the guy forever to prove that he's the best.

Also, George Foreman was more "Tysonesque" then Tyson if you compare their career KO records and win streaks before winning the championship.

From wiki:

After amassing a record of 32-0, Foreman was ranked as the number one challenger by the WBA and WBC. In 1972, his string of wins continued with a series of five consecutive bouts in which he defeated each opponent within three rounds.

Still undefeated, and with an impressive knockout record, Foreman was set to challenge undefeated and undisputed world heavyweight champion Joe Frazier, who in 1971 had scored a 15-round unanimous decision over previously-unbeaten Muhammad Ali, following Ali's return to the ring after an exile of more than three and a half years. The showdown took place on January 22, 1973, in Kingston, Jamaica, with Foreman knocking down Frazier six times in two rounds to win the championship by knockout in one of boxing's biggest upsets.

Total fights 81
Wins 76
Wins by KO 68
Losses 5
Draws 0
No contests 0

89.4% KO ratio/to wins

And now Tyson's record

Total fights 58
Wins 50
Wins by KO 44
Losses 6
Draws 0
No contests 2

88% KO ration/to wins.
