Default 3/6 top pair vs aggro tag, mebbe easy and standard

villain is 19/16 with 6 af. 11/18/6 by street. i have about 1k hands on him. we didnt tangle until these 2 hands.

we are both about 2 buyins deep. i raise in the sb with aq and he 3bets and i call. flop is kt4 with 2 d. i peel a potsize bet and hit j completing flush. turn is checked thru. river i check and call potsize bet and he was bluffing with 99. if this hand sucks go ahead and let me know.

but here is the main hand. eff stacks ~1k. so a few hands later (different table) he raises in the co and i 3bet with akh, he calls.

flop is k87 with 2d.

i bet 100 into 130 and he calls.

turn is 3 and puts 2 spades on board. check and he bets 305 and i call.

river is q completing spade backdoor flush.

i check and he bets like 596 into 900 pot.

edit to say he was allin on river.

1: raise the river with your straight

2: if your checking it should be to cr, but i bet this turn alot. As played fold i think given history

"1: raise the river with your straight"

we are pretty deep here. he still has about 800 left after the bet. still raise?

yeah because he never has a flush and you have a straight. He probably won't call ever, but might aswell give it a shot.

im still meh about 2. my thought process is that he isnt vb worse. Although this is a great bluff card it's pretty obvious what your strategy is against him and he'd be dumb to try to bluff here, but i do see q. a few tags bluffing at terrible spot so im not sure. Also, the fact that you are deep makes him less likely to raise a draw on the flop, which makes me want to call more.

this is pretty cool. never really thought of that before.

otherwise, im wondering if its better to just bet turn and river.

I like that, although i'd probably value shove the river or something. maybe bet the turn, actually. sometimes raise the flop.

i'd check raise all in on the turn, btw.

on the river you can find a fold.
