Moneymaker Millionaire was a little different in that it was a series of satellite tournaments to a 27 player final. The finalists came from five separate tournaments and all started with the same chip stacks in a fresh tournament that took place at the PCA.

From what I understand, this concept is finishing a tournament that started online in a live setting. So when we get down to the final table, everyone gets to play with the stack they had when the online portion of the event finished.

Is this something that would interest 2+2ers?

OK it might have not been stars but ive definately seen this done in the carribean or something like that, played out in battleship style at teh end of the tournament.

personally i think this its a great idea too and agree, its should be a $ event rather than freerolls.

I think this would be great to watch.

I'd quite happily sit through hours of crap adds for crap american beer in order to see the look on Ka$inos face when that river card hit... priceless...

Yes. Especially if you can get it televised. Especially especially if you can get it televised with Lee Jones commentary.

ya the could have web cam things on the players faces instead of the avatars.

I for one thing this is a great idea too. With all these rumours and gossip about cheating, account buying etc etc the biggest online poker tournament of the year should do this for the reputation of the game.

Why not fly the camaras to the people? Some people may not be able to go to London. Likely just as expensive.

no I guess you couldn't do Americans.? Or China? Hum.
