Note the date? If the suspicion is it was in the last 1-2 months, this is 4 months old? I'm not sure about the whole timeframe though.

Can I ask where is the source confirming that Seif was let go by Absolute? I met with him at the WSOP and he was still very much involved, not just as a promotional pro, but i'm nearly positive he was a part-owner.

To people who say to scan your computers,

Most likely, it's not a trojan. I'm 99.99% sure it's not a trojan that he uses. I'll put money on that graycat or the "superusers" did not use trojans to see people's hole cards. He may have hacked the absolute software or it was intentionally rigged by absolute. So who knows. So don't worry about scanning your computers.

[/ QUOTE ]

Especially given the donkament HH, a trojan seems very unlikely. I think a disgruntled ex-employee or software developer is the main culprit.

Another point brought up in the main thread (paraphrased) is that Absolute had employees who would "grind" the lower limit games (with holecards) and would have a certain quota to meet of earnings or whatever.

Is it too late to edit your post, IMSA? There are some errors.

The 3 players under suspicion were STEAMROLLER, GREYCAT and DOUBLEDRAG.

The LHE thread was moved to the mod forum, adanthar sounded the alarm, and THEN he was notified about the POTRIPPER hand.

Plus, in the original LHE thread, LHE and NLHE hands are discussed. The POTRIPPER hand was the last and most unsubstantiated part.

Did potripper have any cash hands? Maybe he is just a big fish.

Not that we know of. The POTRIPPER aspect has not yielded any more fruit yet, but we have to understand less than 24 hrs. have elapsed since this blew up.

That's so bizarre, why did he also detail the POTRIPPER aspect first? The PT shots first are obviously the best way to hit somebody in the head.
