Not to thread hijack, but I run NLHE tournaments every couple of weekends in the north SF Bay area (Sonoma wine country, ~1 hr from downtown SF).

This is a low stakes, home game kind of thing. Stakes vary between around $20-$80 (announced ahead of time of course), with 10-20 players. No Fee.
