The big bet is the larger number used when describing the game, the bet size on the turn and river, which is twice the big blind. So, if you are playing $1-$2 limit, the big blind is $1, and the big bet is $2. Winning 2 BB/100 is $4/100, or 300 x $4 = $1200 in 30,000 hands. If you are playing NL, 2 BB/100 is ambiguous. The problem is that PokerTracker was designed for limit, and still uses BB to mean twice the big blind, even though this isn't meaningful. Some people mean this unit, while others mean big blinds. To resolve the ambiguity, some people use PTBB to mean the BB reported by PokerTracker. In NL $200, with blinds of $1 and $2, a PTBB is $4, and 2 PTBB/100 would be $8/100. 2 big blinds/100 would be $4/100. |
