Default Wynn Air Conditioning

Last minute petty concern: my wife and I are packing for Vegas, and she's wondering how cold they keep the hotels. Is the AC blast such a shock that she needs to pack long sleeved shirts and/or sweatshirts?

Some places keep it pretty chilly.
the Rio especially for example (in their convention room with the WSOP...not sure about the main casino).

I don't get bothered by it but others are more sensitive to that sort of thing than I am.

My GF is like that re: A/C.
If we were heading to LV in July or Aug I would remind her to bring a long-sleeve shirt or sweater in case the inside of the casino was too chilly for her liking.

If her Mom was coming with us I would recommend she bring a parka. She can't handle any A/C at all.

Poker rooms are either hot or cold. Wear layers.

Wynn is pretty comfortable. In over 2 years of playing there, have not felt too cold, nor too hot. It is also one of the nicest and most comfortable rooms. Not to mention smoking hot cocktail waitresses!

I find that about 10% of female's nipples find it cold.

The past two weeks the casinos in general have been very cold. I have carried a track jacket with me and my legs still get cold if I'm wearing shorts. Tough to wear pants during the day when it's 115 out, though.

Wear layers. Tear-away pants a plus.

Just a note: casino studies have shown gamblers lose more money at lower temperatures. Odds are you can go to any casino and it would be on the cooler side...if they read the study.
