5/10, 200bb deep vomit inducing set hand
Villain is 28/18, seems decent enough, no history.
What the [censored] do I do? I can't really put him on a hand. Like someone in IRC said, it's really hard to imagine him doing this on the turn without a straight, but then it's hard to imagine him playing the flop like this with a straight too. Re: 5/10, 200b deep vomit inducing hand
I could see like AT playing like this hoping to get the money in with a higher equity. I mean if you check behind it's unlikely you woulda called 2 streets anyways if he donked into you.
He prob woulda re-raised KK or JJ pf given the depth. |

Yeah im not really afraid of KK here. Someone with those stats almost always repops that [censored] pre. I think I call. Often a scare card will come for both of you, like a heart, and you get to showdown free. Other times board pairs and hes almost committed. Other times he checks it down or check calls 2 pair.

Wow, this is really tough to know what to do. He would prob reraise with JJ or KK. I don't think he'd play 10,9 OOP. So that just leaves A10. That must be what he has, I think it's a fold.

can we call hoping to fill up? i'd have a tough time laying this down even though it does look like a straight.

Re: 5/10, 200bb deep vomit inducing set hand
only straights that play like this are ATh and maybe 9Th, IMO.
I guess call but there's a ton of scare cards that can fall on the river. Depending on how aggro he is I'd consider shoving - he could still have some sort of combo draw and waited until the turn to jack it up, knowing you dump a lot of different hands to it. |
