Default Air your beefs about Bill Clinton

I thought I'd start a thread for people to say what sucked about Clinton's presidency. Generally I just see "he sucks" or "he lied" posts. I'm not talking about merely being a Democrat, or cigars and stained-dressed. The actual policy part.

Lol, I searched the first 200 posts a year back with "Clinton" in the subject, and didn't see anything specific about this. Just the same old one-liners. Eh, nix if you want Iron. Terrific graphic, though.

I like the question. I'll start it off. Here are some Clinton policies I didn't like:

1. Welfare reform
2. Not very strong on the environment
3. Failure to pass health care reform
4. Looking for the low hanging political fruit instead of tackling tough issues

A complete and total politician in every way, did/said whatever was politically best at all times, Presidency purely by polls.

And now we have a stubborn ass President who refuses to listen to anyone and sticks to his guns even when completely wrong.

Sigh.

That sounds nothing like Mitt Romney.

He sold nuclear technology to the chinese.

DOMA - So weird from a democrat, I guess he has to pander to the religious right so he doesn't get totally obliterated in the red states. Although, not really his fault I guess, it passed easily in both houses.

I can't believe I forgot about DOMA. Although that wasn't so much his policy as something the GOP foisted on him, it was still horrible legislation.

Yeah, it passed the Senate by a vote of 85-14 and the Reps by a vote of 342-67.

I guess I don't really know, how much legislation gets approved by both houses and then vetoed by the pres? I'm just trying to understand how abnormal it would've been for him to nuke it.

Edit for bad copy - pasting.
