What, you can beat f4cking 10/20nl+ but you can't work this [censored] out on your own? What, someone knows your own table image / the flow of the game better than you do? You people are f4cking retarded, you're sitting here waiting for some illsuive panacea that never comes, you're waiitng, refreshing the HS forum, waiting for some new SECRET PANACEA TO GIVE YOU THE NEW SECRETES TO BEAT THE NEXT LEVEL OF POKER. mart0x,

the point is to get yourself thinking about the hand in different ways. maybe some people see things you don't. then you can examine all the crappy advice and the good advice and get rid of 90% of the posts and be left with some decent information.

the fact that 90% of the replies are crap is pretty good, cuz it means the morons that read these forums will just learn how to play bad. only the smart dudes will learn.

I've learnt a lot from lurking HSNL the past couple of years...

But yeah, over time it has gotten more and more redundant for the reasons you alluded to.

MSNL is actually getting that way too with a lot of the smartest posters refusing to post nowadays, mostly the only good read in there is the monthly thread, cos its basically MSNL BBV. Although when I first started taking NL seriously I learnt tons from both forums, nowadays most of the time I load either forum all threads look pedestrian and boring and I just click back on BBV/SSF/NVG/OOT/some other site

When people say they'd play a hand ten different ways, it really teaches you a lot about the game. Once in a while, you'll discover an approach that you hadn't really considered.
