Fable had some very cool bosses, too bad the last boss fight SUCKED.

RE 4 had many good ones, the new Zelda is also really cool. I thought the final mission of GTA San Andreas was really cool, and fun.

The Doom bosses are good picks. How about some of the bosses of Baldur's Gate II? I particularly remember the fight against that necromancer in a tomb underneath the city...how he kept killing my party and I kept redoing the fight with different spells equipped...it took a long time but finally I figured out how to counter his finger of death and other insta-kill spells.

In MMOs I think killing the dragon Nagafen for the first time on the server, with a small army of lvl 50s that kept getting feared and downright slaughtered, yet we brought him down in the end!

And now you know one more. That's why I hate FFT game so much. How in the green hell am I supposed to know that I need to buy 70 X-potions before I enter what I assume will be a doable battle. That's just garbage. I'm 99% sure the programmers got lazy and accidentally made his attack and defense 100 instead of 10 and just never bothered to find the typo.

The only way you beat him is to buy a ton of X-potions, learn auto-potion and Yell 60 times so you get 5 turns in a row. And by the time you do that, your character has gained so much cheap experience that you have a mutant for a Ramza. I want my characters to be evenly leveled dammit. Awful game.

I always thought the Bowser fight in SMB3 was cool, seeing how it was more than just a case of jumping on him until he dies. Ridley's always good, particularly in Prime and the second time round in Super Metroid. Also, any boss in Ikaruga.
