I'm getting an ill feeling for the direction this country is heading.

?
I've been getting that for over a year now, but you are right its getting to the extreme now, and no not just because of this gambling bill (there were other unbelievable bills that were also passed that week).

[/ QUOTE ]

I've been getting that feeling for over 20 years now, and that's only because I'm not old enough to have gotten the feeling for the last 150. Just as one example, the War On some Drugs has been far worse than anything passed this year.

Why are you doing this?

[/ QUOTE ]

Is that a serious question? They are protecting their asses.

[/ QUOTE ]

protecting themselves from what exactly?

It was my understanding that simply publishing information relating to online gambling is protected under the constituion?

Why

[/ QUOTE ]

There have been casino affiliates arrested in FL. I also heard of an affiliate in WA that got a cease and desist letter from some DA. I don't think it's unreasonable for BW to take some precaution.

[/ QUOTE ]

Maybe I am not understanding the semantics of it: but isn't it a little redundant to ask someone to cease AND desist?

Look the US is pretty busy bringing freedom to other countries,... we can forgive them for outlawing weeds and online poker at home. We can't just give freedom to just anybody.

You have to take something away from some people to give something to other people. (freedom that is...)

We have freed 600,000 Iraqis of their lives.

Who wants to be freed next?
