MAFIA
The citizens of Pogchester are living in fear. The Mafia control the town, extorting protection money from the villagers, and bribing the corrupt police force to look the other way. Things come to a head when the local fishmonger is murdered for refusing to pay up. The townspeople gather in the square, determined to root out the mafia.

Rules and roles
Days will run from 10 AM to 10 PM. Early lynch if a majority is reached. Votes must be outside quotes, please avoid editing posts. No talking at night. Dead people can only make their little death speech, no strategy content. Try to avoid talking to other Poggers about the game in case we need alternates. All roles will be revealed accurately upon death. Only the mafia may talk to each other outside the thread, and then only at night. The Mafia Godfather: Head of the mafia, has final choice on night kills. Appears as a villager if peeked. Consigliere: The consigliere receives $100 at the start of each day for each ordinary member of the mafia still alive. He can use this money to perform various night actions. These are: BRIBE ($100) - Targets a player of his choice, if that player is the seer, he gets no peek that night. BUY ARMOUR ($250) - Picks a member of the mafia (including himself), who becomes immune to vigilante kills for the remainder of the game. HIRE HITMAN ($600) - Summons an assassin from out of town. Basically an extra night kill. He can perform as many of these actions as he has money for. Mafia: Ordinary bad guys and the source of the consigliere's income. The Town Cops: Seers, whose peeks can be blocked if they get bribed by the consigliere. They got a free peek each. If a seer fails to send a peek, a rational one will be chosen at random. All peeks are accurate, except for the godfather. Doctor: Picks a member of the town to protect from being killed at night. Cannot protect himself, protection only 50% effective on cops. Can choose to protect noone. Vigilante: Villager that can make night kills. Has 6 bullets, each of which have a 50/50 chance of success. He must choose how many shots to fire when he picks his target, giving him a range of choices from firing once and hoping to win the coinflip, or completely unloading for an almost guaranteed kill. Villagers: Standard. |

Use 1 bullet unless there is a good reason to prevent wasting bullets. |
