I always liked the small scoreboard in one of the top corners of the screen (like CBS). I think a banner accross the screen is just too much.

I hope your kidding.
Fox is the wretched network that decided that they need a sound effect everytime the stat box pops up or goes away. Not to mention the gadamned football playing robots....

I thought the graphic was distracting at first, but I guess it's not so bad. I only watched for maybe 20 minutes though.

yes, but the biggest problem with fox is turning the crowd noise way up relative to the announcers

They already hate each other. Tony was a Washington sports writer when "Joe D" was playing for the 'Skins, and ripped him regularly.

"Joe D" hasn't forgotten. I heard one minute of this game tonight, and "Joe D" was pointing this out to Tony.

Also, the Vikings jerseys are terrible.

[/ QUOTE ]

Not nearly as terrible as the officials' jerseys. They're almost solid white. There's no way this doesn't end badly.

The new ESPN score box completely [censored] me up. It doesn't just look like the Arkanoid. It is the Arkanoid. When it needs to display down-and-distance, it swallows the E powerup and extends out. I expected the football to split into three at any moment, or for the score box to start firing at [censored].
