Villian is 19/6/2.13 over 206 hands.

I have serious consideration to folding the flop...

i go nuts on the flop here to try and find out where i'm at... I raise the flop and make a judgement if i'm 3-bet... i'm not dropping here at all...

you have at least six outs to any set he holds, and 3 to tie his AK which is really as bad of a situation as you can be in...

you're against KK a fair amount of the time here... but i'm not sure you lose too much value by playing it the way you did... really is a flop that hits a large range of his hands... i just like to see a raise somewhere in here for when he has KK, preferably early in the hand...

The problem with raising for information is that villian is probably going to reraise me with KK and AA...

Let's assume his capping range is AK/AA-JJ

AK (8 combos): 1.5 outs
KK (3): 2
QQ/JJ(6): 6

Gives 3.2 outs on average.

Getting 11.3:1 I think a call is fine. Especially since AK/AA-JJ is about the worst capping range we can put him on (for you), you'll most likely have more outs than 3.2 on average.

EDIT: I'm an idiot, we're ahead of KK, folding isn't an option here

If he's retarded enough to 3-bet AA/KK on this flop he's retarded enough to call down (as in calling down without raising the flop).

raising for information is the dumbest thing i've heard. a 19/6 cap range is typically {AKs, AKo, QQ+). figure the rest out. i think call down here is fine.

I agree. Clearly you are going to showdown, so you don't need any information. I liked the way you played it.
