probe bet... see where I was at. If it got raised I was prob done, I didn't want to commit too much money when I was way ahead/way behind.

Why did you bet $4 on the flop? I really don't like leading here, even if its a normal ammount. Leading does nothing except bloat the pot. People are not going to fold over cards, overpairs, As, or anything really to a flop lead. Especially since you are in teh blinds. So leading does nothign except increase the pot, and you are very unlikely to figure out anythign more about where you stand.

As played, you should have fired again on the turn.

call. I really really hate the weak lead. If you must lead then make it like $12 or $14, but i prefer checking.

By checking the turn you're asking him to bluff here. You led too weakly on the flop and then played weak on the turn.

I think you should check and then when someone else bets you either need to raise and try to take the pot down now or fold. There aren't going to be any cards coming out that will improve your hand so the quicker you end this the better.

4 dollars? Really? I think Doyle would refer to this as "a gutless bet."

I think this is no time for a feeler. If you are up against a bigger pocket pair, it sucks, but the only way to find out for sure is to put in a man-sized bet and let him bump you.

Bet it hard and punish those who want to hold onto overcards or straight draws.

Played as is, I think we have to bet the turn as well.

I'm only playing microlimits, but...
Why do you give him so much credit for having an overpair? Couldn't this be AJ/AQ or maybe even some suited connectors (56, 67) just as well?
