wow scary tiger has a nitty reputation if this 3bet is questioned...

I'm not really sure about that - isn't a river C/R generally like the least player-dependant sign of strength?

I mean you could argue he doesn't have a flush but it's less unlikely than AJ/KJ/QJ which I don't think ever get played like this...
Nits & lags alike will C/R a river'd 2pair or better here.

It sounds stupid because it's poker, but I don't really care that much who I'm up against here (unless you have a good 'flop donk range' read)...it seems like a simple math problem of weighing 2pair hands vs. straight.

"weighing 2pair hands vs. straight."

yeah and hands that have 2pair have to donk/call the flop and check call the turn club. 95s no flush draw calls turn? J5 doesn't c/r flop? 65 donks a J96 flop 3-way and calls on that turn?

2handed said: "He may have flopped two pair or a set,"

i really doubt he played flopped two pair or a set this way on the flop or turn. only 87 makes sense.

If I donked out 78 on the flop it was a multitabling error, are you sure I didn't c/r flop and you 3-bet? I probably flopped a pair like 95 and J5 and rivered two pair and was trying to take one big pair to value town. I definitely don't have a flush.

You had 95s. You definitely donked/called flop.

Yeah, I was just saying I wouldn't lead 78. I don't donk in HU situations, there was a guy in the SB.

Think itīs a call. 97,76,75,87 seem more likely than rivered 2 pair to me and you lay 2:1.

Board doesn't have a gutshot, although it was when he first posted it. It's 4569J.

Super easy 3 bet IMO.

Yeah definitely.

Yep... I dont see ST donking 78 here on the flop.. Its very likely a weak made hand.. When he c/r the river, its very likely 2 pair.

ST would know that you think a donk is FOS, and its unlikely to take down the pot 3-way so I doubt hes donking on a board like this with 78... My guess is his flop donk was looking for a raise from a draw to knock out a better hand that SB may have or a weak draw + overcards.

easy 3-bet unless you think ST has a strategy oriented around donking in 3-way pots.. My guess is like most TAGs, he doesnt and his flop donk is a weak made hand...

Heisenberg, that is a well articulated version of what I was thinking during the hand.
