to me it looks like CO has hit 666 by the way this hand was played. the limp from MP, if he had 10 10 or QQ, you would think he would raise.. but 66 from that position and play seems to fit.

he recognizes that there are flush draws and straight draws on board so raises. if he is holding a set, you are around 32% to win the hand. given that $70 is in the pot by the time CO raised, and he has roughly $59 left, it leaves you with $129 to win and $80 to put in.

wrote this post fast cause not much time here. also didn't consider possibility of other hand holdings so that would improve your odds a bit.. think the math is right though

3-bet preflop. I like getting it all in here. Hope that villain has AA or KK so that all your outs are good. If he has a set, youve still got good equity.

I didnt 3 bet pre becuase I viewed him as tight and behind his range

With AKs, you are 50/50 versus the top 5.6% of hands. So, unless his PFR is less than that, you are ahead of his range. If he 4bets, then you can let this go.

3bet preflop, lead flop, etc.

On the flop, after he 3bets, it is clear that he loves his hand and he is trying to keep you in the hand. I'd be inclined to just call his 3bet because he won't fold if you hit and if you miss the turn, he will bet weak and give you proper odds to continue. This way if you miss, you can save yourself some money.

Having said that, i don't mind getting it in here.

that's what i'm saying...

i never said to fold, it's just that his hand range now is sets and 2p's, which we no longer hold 40% equity over since some of our outs will be boating up.

[/ QUOTE ]

I would add AA and KK to his range. Overpair are consistent with his weak betting line.
