Re: Playing aces with callers on the turn
Decision would be clearer if we raise more preflop and pot the flop.

Re: Playing aces with callers on the turn
Agreed. Hands haven't been defined much and we lack reads. Unpleasantness all around.

Re: Playing aces with callers on the turn
so im still going to charge a draw with insufficient odds which will give me the chance to get away on the river as i am not pot stuck. we cant check and give a free card. this is obviously a losing propesition. we bet 25 and get called we lose 1 time in 4.5 so thats a net of $87.5 by betting on the turn. if we check the turn villain will def not call a bet if his card doesnt hit as our profit will be 0 with a hand that is probably the best. now by betting 25 we still have 55 behind so we can fold to a large river bet.
lets have some others comment on this, agree disagree |

Re: Playing aces with callers on the turn
Thanks for all the good advice, I will re-evaluate my preflop bet with that many limpers.
I did bet out about half of the pot $30, got called by both, river paired the king as I cursed, but to my suprise both players checked, I checked and saw QT and AJ, winning a nice pot but feeling like I misplayed it somewhere along the way. thanks cookie |
