Against this player, I favor a call. It seems more than 50/50 that he has made his flush or straight. Given that, a raise does not get any value, and might cost more when he three-balls, assuming you call (which I probably would because, like the earlier poster, I'm something of a showdown monkey). I like calling here.

But you really need prior reads for this assessment, some guys are so passive they only bet really strong hands on the river here. I'd say about 53% raise, 47% call.

Its seems lately whenever I call in this spot Im always showed a str8 or flush. But if the pot is laying at least 9 to 1 in this spot im calling. Its been my experience, live at least, river donks on scare cards/boards= I HAVE THE NUTS.

Maybe its MUBS, but like I said I have been getting rivered a ton lately w hands just like this. Btw- This is by no means a default play for me. I like to show down as much as I can, esp. hu. But with the combination of possible hands that beat us is a fold that bad?
