Default headaches when working out

I often get headaches when working out, to the point where i will have to stop actually working out and go home and lie down.

I used to suffer migraine headaches and i feel it is closely related to a possible 'click' or something in my neck. Does anyone have any similar experiences / suggestions?

EG today i was doing dumbbell benches and at the end of the third set at the highest weight it kicked in. It's always when i am doing that last lift when i am completely exerted and then it feels like suddenly my head has been put in a trash compactor. As i said i'm thinking it might be possible strain on my neck (which is very weak) and that is causing a headache. It's very frustrating.

Do you stretch your neck before working out?

i wouldn't focus on a specific neck stretch, no. i will look into some. I usually slowly roll my neck around and turn it to either side a bit before lifting anything but thats more ritualistic than 'holding a stretch' etc. I'll look into some.

ok i know what u're suffering from.
your trapezius , a muscle on your upper back attached to your skull, is damaged at your skull.
this can lead to intense headaches when working out, even when laughing hard.
you should take 2 weeks of rest, and tell your doctor about it, he will subscribe you with a proper medicine blend from painkillers, musclerelaxors and others...
when u head back to the gym avoid heavy lifting and pulling excercises the first few weeks
