Wales (-6) to beat Italy 10/11 2 units -2.54 units

F**k. That's all I can say. Come on France.

[/ QUOTE ]

I was going to bet Italy outright in this one but stopped doing so. Shame really, I'm still laughing at the last seconds of the game. Mainly because I know England will get heavily, heavily shoed tomorrow, and need to get all the entertainment I can now...

Backing Wales to win away against a solid team, considering they haven't beaten anyone competent since forever, AND giving them a start, is probably an error. 20/20 hindsight and all that, but just look at their relative performances against Scotland. It should have been a bigger win, Italy would have walked a try in had they not been called back for a knock on whilst in a 2-on-1 break, when it was actually Morgan knocking it backwards on the replay.

Last one.

Scotland (+21) to beat France 10/11 2 units

France will probably be trying to score quite heavily. I think they'll get sloppy in defence and Scotland will take advantage of it. France will have trouble putting that many scores past the Scottish defence, even more so if Skrela doesn't recover. Scotland should keep this one within reach.

Italy (+13) also looks good. The Italian forwards have the ability to slow a game down and keep the score low, Ireland will miss O'Connell badly. I don't give the much chance of winning, but they're not getting whipped that badly that often.
