Default ABS 5/10: Preflop - what do to do with JJ in BB vs 3 bet?

UTG+1 is 21/7/1.35 over 1043 hands
Button is unknown
SB is 41/8/1.18 over 984 hands

Preflop: Hero is Big blind with J[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img], J[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img].
1 fold, UTG+1 raises, 2 folds, Button 3bets, Small blind calls, Hero ???

hey niediam,

call to see what UTG does. since button is unknown odds are he doesn't know UTG's generally tight raising standards as indicated by your sample and is 3betting lighter with position. sb can be in with any sort of crap. i want to cap for value in a way, but if he doesn't cap it tells you a bit more about his hand. so i guess we are actually avoiding a semi-marginal raise for additional information on the UTG raiser.

Regards,

James

Call. This isn't a hand I'd want to cap with OOP against a raiser and 3-better. See a flop and go from there.
