I saw Jamie Gold and Robert Williamson playing Oneal Longson 100- 200 2-7 Triple draw last night at the Venetian. I believed they also played Pot Limit Omaha as well....

Thats an interesting game. O'Niel is one of the best shorthanded 2-7 experts in Vegas, heads up is his game. Robert is supposed to be the best in Tunica but I haven't played him yet (his wife tells me he is the best, good enough for me since there seems to be no evidence otherwise - Kate is very cool).

The Grinder runs games at Planet Hollywood. Not sure of the schedule, but I've played with him there a few times. He even got them to open a 5-10 NL uncapped game instead of their usual 1-2 NL 200 game.

Well - the whole story is kind of long (albeit quite amusing), but the table came about after I stacked him on the 1-2 table when we both ended up all in blind (each had ~$600). He got pissed and wanted the bigger action - so initially was just him and I, but once the table actually opened I think there were 8 or 9 of us. After a couple hours though it died.

I think Doc Jennings would qualify as the best triple draw player in Tunica. Back in 2004 Robert Williamson was telling a story about how they change the procedure at Bellagio to accomodate him when he plays there.

Standard procedure is push. If the player wants their cards tossed the Bellagio will accommodate however the player must play any exposed non-wheel cards as well as wheel cards at that point. Johny Chan also asks for this adjustment.

Is Jamie Gold really that hell bent on losing all his $$ back to the poker community?

I wasn't going to mention what we were discussing as it deserves its own thread (which we have done before). but it really surprises me that the Bellagio default is to slide. Back when I dealt the standard in live games (top section dealers) was to pitch and the standard in tournaments (bottom section/less experienced dealers and players) was to slide. I prefer the cards be pitched as it moves the game better and I think they are less likely to be exposed, and it is harder for a dealer to deal a second (well harder to get away with it).
