Re: 2.5 percentage points difference
2.5% extra would mean nothing to me in deciding what affiliate to run with..
with all my RB decisions, i run with who i trust and who has a proven track record in paying me and dealing with any problems i throw at them.... |

Re: 2.5 percentage points difference
I would rather take a few % less and have a reputable affiliate that I am happy with. Deciding factors for me are not only there % but they customer service and payment options.

Re: 2.5 percentage points difference
Unless I generated a massive amount of MGR, I'd prefer a trusted affiliate with good customer service. Do you realize how much EV it costs you if you waste 5 hours trying to deal with an affiliate problem?

Unless I generated a massive amount of MGR, I'd prefer a trusted affiliate... [/ QUOTE ] I thought of this too, but it is ironic that we might take a less trusted affiliate when the numbers are larger. Still, for an extra $250 or more a month I may take some risk. But if a less trusted affiliate offers you something extra you should seriously consider whether the offer is too good to be true. Dan www.rakebackstore.com |

Re: 2.5 percentage points difference
I previously left a trusted affiliate for a better deal. The new affiliate ripped me off and, apparently, several others. I won't consider anyone I don't know no matter what the deal.

I would take the higher percentage.

Re: 2.5 percentage points difference
I think the majority of the major affiliates try and offer the best %'s available. With that said I think that it should not be difficult to find the best deals just by looking at the top affiliates.
I have noticed in this business that if some no name guy is offering a deal that you have not seen before, or is not the industry standard, then he is probably not to be trusted. www.OnlinePokerRakeback.com |

Re: 2.5 percentage points difference
I would always pick one of the affiliates I use and trust over the others for 2.5%
The difference in rate would make me prepared to sign up with an unknown would depend on two factors, * How much do I play at/on that site * Are there other skins that I could sign up to The extreme examples are UB and say Prima. With UB if I get it wrong first time then there isn't alot I can do to fix it and there is nowhere else to go and signup (RIP Pokershare ). With Prima if my affiliate goes bad there are another 487 skins I can try. So UB I probably wouldn't try and unknown for a 5% differential. For Prima I would. |

I recently took an offer for 3% lower so that I could sign up with a friend that I trust. I think knowing you'll get paid month after month is much more important than the extra 2.5% [/ QUOTE ] |

Re: 2.5 percentage points difference
signing-up for a new account on UB is easy (unless something has changed recently).
