VIP closed to US?

Prolly a ridiculous question, but I got an email from VIP today saying they credited me $100....arent they closed to US?

They only stopped taking new US players. They did not close to the US all together.

If you already had an account you can continue to use them just the same as before.

BTW what was the $100 for?
I just got $40 free from them for 13-3 in that picks contest and was disappointed because the initial email to me said I finished 1st for the week. Then I log in and it said T1 but actually 5th because of tie breaker.

doesnt give a particular reason, seems to be pretty generic email but the 100 is there? some sort of bonus maybe
