Default AK preflop v nit

Villain is 16/10/6.5 over 166 hands. My image is TAG

What do we like here, call, 4b/call, 4b/fold? It's 134 BB stacks if that makes a difference

Vs a 16/10 that is out of position I think it is a clear fold. His range is probably QQ+ and maybe AKs making this an easy fold.

I find a fold here as well. I'd say you're 50/50 at best against his range.

I probably fold this the first time it happens. He seems nitty. I think it's close.

I don't think a fold here is that bad. What are we going to do if we call, the flop comes 3 babies, and he fires a pot sized bet at us? 4-betting is very risky as well. If this is the first time he's 3-bet over a LP raise I'm going to let him have it.

I agree. There are more profitable spots to tangle with nits. This isn't one of them.

EDIT: I've found that nits tend to get frustrated with loose openers but since your image is TAG this is a pretty easy laydown imo (although I'd call or 4bet with my normal image).

EZ EZ fold. Best you can hope for is a flip. K hits the flop and you're stacking and you could be behind
