Re: KJc with13 outs
Actually 12 outs but yeah.. I'd just c/c, maybe c/r some of the time just for balance. Probably 80% call, 20% raise.

Re: KJc with13 outs
I wouldn't lead unless your planning on 3 betting AI. I'd prefer check call, maybe c/r some of the time if I'm feeling frisky.

Re: KJc with13 outs
Lead or cr. cc is better than cf but typically not ideal.

Re: KJc with13 outs
I'd b/3b this, so I guess I'd bet 3.15.

Villain and me had been sparing alot lately hence the call [/ QUOTE ] That's a really bad reason to call, and this is a really bad situation to call in. Let's count it up, shall we? 1. Your hand is suited. Whoopie. 2. Your hand is not connected. You can make two straights with this hand, and that's not so great. (Your hand is about as "connected" as T7 would be.) 3. Your hand won't hit very often. 4. You'll hit a flush draw FAR more often than a flush, and you'll hit a straight draw FAR more often than a straight. When you hit a draw you'll be OOP against an aggressive opponent who will probably charge you an unfair price. Hitting will often be more expensive than missing. 5. When you get a one-pair type hand you'll always be looking over your shoulder for a bigger kicker. OOP against an aggressive opponent you could lose a VERY big pot if you hit a K-high board and villain has big slick, for example. (And, of course, if he DOESN'T have big slick he's throwing the hand away and losing very little.) Conditions are horrible for you right now. You're out of position, you're heads-up, you're facing an aggressive opponent, your opponent has already raised, you're unlikely to get free cards, you're unlikely to get much value if you hit. Sure, if things line up absolutely perfectly you can make some cash here, but most of the time you're going to rupture chips all over the felt, here. Fold this preflop. Feel free to "spar" when you've got an honestly good hand or when you've got position on your opponent -- don't let him stack the deck against you before you go a-fightin'. |

Re: KJc with13 outs
I don't like check/call because a club will almost always kill your action against any decent player. C/r and call shove.

Re: KJc with13 outs
Am i missing something here
9 clubs for a flush and 4 queens for a straight = 13 outs. Is a check raise all in ok in this spot? |
