what is your image at the table? it is a very strange line from him, i have no idea what it means. i would call as a default and note what he would play like this. someone else might know better than me, cos it is odd

When he c/c and lead I think weakness more often than strength. Maybe he has 98, maybe he has 44, but usually I see this line as something to slow down the pfr and get to showdown cheap. When the 4 pairs, it makes it less likely that he has 44, and you now beat 98. If he called pre with 99 or 88, good for him. I think I'm shoving this river and hoping he calls light.
