Default calling 3-bets/ OOP+In pos.

What are the general standards in calling 3 bets? there are so many different situations of getting 3 bet, but how do you go about playing a hand after being 3 bet? In pos. do you call with a wider range?

In pos. say getting re raised out of the blinds and you pick up AK/AQ/AJ. Say a SC or PP. AA-10s. Do you call with a SC ever? Call w/ PPs for set value?

OOP: same situations? Usually i call for set value but i feel like calling some 3 bets could be a leak in my game.

With those min raises or small 2.5x re raises i usually call trying to bust the obvious big hand of a nit.

Def. something i need to work on and would like to see others opinions.

Default Re: calling 3-bets/ OOP+In pos.

you always call with a wider range in position.
if its a true nit i wouldn't mess around but if they get committed to hands then calling with pp. in this situation i like pp a lot more than sc because a small set is essentially invisible.
i dont like calling 3bet with AQ, absolutely not AJ. A is a scare card and you are only getting good value when you hit it if he has a weaker A.

its important to be able to let go of hands after being 3bet
because the action is taken away from you so you are pretty much just playing the strength of your cards at that point and more often than not you are going to miss the flop.
