Re: Folding my Ak on this flop?
[ QUOTE ]
[ QUOTE ] Against some players it's really an obvious muck on the flop [/ QUOTE ] While I agree, I don't think player shows up much at $5/10, especially on Stars. [/ QUOTE ] I've seen loads of players at 5/10 where I am certain that calling the flop is -EV, but I've never played Stars and will stay away based on this! |

Many players will only cold call with AQ=AJ even ATs from the blinds. |

Re: Folding my Ak on this flop?
in all likelyhood the SB is making a move on this flop, but if he's good and carries through on the turn and the board doesn't pair then I'm probably going to give it up. If he checks I agree check behind and call most rivers.

Re: Folding my Ak on this flop?
I have a feeling I want to fold this... I know my range with that play has AK beat pretty good. But maybe I'm not opening up enough with my postflop lines...
You have a read that he takes somewhat wierd alternative lines, I guess a call on the flop and fold to turnbet is my play. If he checks, check it behind and VB or call any river. |
