Default Aces - checkraised on turn

live $3/6 just sat down.

raise preflop with pocket aces from late position, 3 callers.

Flop: K[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] 10 [img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] 4 [img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] I bet, 2 callers.

Turn: 8 [img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] I bet, early position checkraises, I ?

just call here. without a read, EP probably has 2 pairs, a set, or flush.

Sometimes this is a flush. Sometimes it is two pair, like K8 or T8. Sometimes it is a set. Very rarely it’s a bluff. You have outs against hands other than the flush. I don’t think you can fold. Since he is an unknown, I would call him down for information.

I'm deviating from the other two respondees and thinking strongly about folding. The bluff checkraise is rare in low limit poker. It also depends on the other player in the pot. I am more likely to call if he folds. Can you see why? JB

get rid of it. very rarely will this be a bluff at the 3/6 level.

no need for a read at a live 3/6 game. 99.99% of the time its just basic ABC type players.

if so then call and fold to unpaired board on the river, b/c even abc players show up with two pair here.
