Flop: Raising and calling can both be fine.
Turn: That's a pretty great scare card, I'd use it.
River: Raise fold seems standard. He'll call with worse flushes for sure, and I doubt he pushes a Thigh or worse hardly ever. He might call with worse, sometimes, as well, especially if he checked an A or a 5 on the turn.

I always call here and every time Iīm beat. Your line looks so much like a flush that a bluff is very rare (and not very smart as people usually donīt fold flushes). Also the smallish bet on the river kind of looks like he wants you to call/raise.

TWP,

I call most of the time pre-flop, sometimes reraise.

I call most of the time on the flop, sometimes raise.

I bet most of the time on the turn, sometimes check.

How would you play those streets?

Fold, fold, bet. Usually.

Only good reason I see to check the turn is if he's an awesome hand reader or as a balancing play.

On the river I guess you're behind meh.

All,

FYI, I raised to 250, he reraised to 650. Anyone want to call?

[/ QUOTE ]

without much of a read, no, not really. I like to raise flop or bet turn to disguise my hand a little bit so I can get his stack easier if I hit.

wow.

pls raise river. but you missed a very obvious raise on the flop. and i'd bet the turn if checked to cause obv villain would bet hte turn with an ace after chcking the flop.

how do you play this in higher games, and what higher games have you been playing in????

folding flop seems ridiculous. like i saw phil ivey do the same in a recent HSP episode. preflop some dude raised and he called or overcalled with a crappy suited hand like K8s in position. flop is unpaired with a draw to his flush, the preflop raiser bets <pot, and he (last to act) just folds it. wtf?
