How are the games currently at Party Poker
I might be moving overseas and was wondering how the games at Party Poker are now compared to before they cut off the US market. Especially at the 100-400 NL level.

Re: How are the games currently at Party Poker
the midstake games are sweet as long as u play sh, nl100-400sh is pretty awesome, also limit 3/6-10/20 is pretty fishy.
If u play fulltring i would go with stars. |

Re: How are the games currently at Party Poker
Full Ring 200+ are basically brutal/non existant. The avg table vpip of the 200's is 19 and there is is only about 7 of them running at peak time. 400nl has about 1 or 2 tables peak time and thats about it for Full ring 200+. Once in a while there is a 1k table running.

Also would I have to close my current account in order to open a new one if I move. [/ QUOTE ] Close your account. 60 days before you can make a new one, a much easier solution then trying to explain to Party that you've moved somewhere your now able to play. |

Re: How are the games currently at Party Poker
My experience is counter-intuitive, but I always had much better results on Stars at SNG levels from $16 to $55, as opposed to Party.
Stars is already a tighter proposition today and maybe no proposition at all for Americans tomorrow, so I am beginning a move to Party, uneasily. So far, with just a touch of recent experience, the low-medium SNG speeds are far too wild for my taste. Maybe I've just become a better player (one can hope), but the regular $33 SNGs seem to be populated by excessively optimistic and creative opposition, chucking in chips with jaw-dropping abandon. |
