Limits are currently 1500/3000.
Average stack currently has 33 big bets.

Can't see how this event will last five days.

Expect many people to question this structure tomorrow.

Does sound bad, but shouldn't players be complaining before the event starts? It can't be too hard for a pro to look at a structure and say "This ain't going to be too good by level x"

Today they're doing 18 rounds (currently at round 12), 15 levels after today. I think they were expecting more than a 5 person increase from last year also.

Starting stack for this $50K HORSE event had 83 big bets.

Starting stack for the $5K HORSE event a week ago had 100 big bets.

This year I actually considered playing the $50k because the structure is worse/shallow.
Rush of cards on Day 2 = new World Champ of Pokah. Mrs. Admo would be proud.

Best comment evar from last year's 50k HORSE, after Neal Frietz wins a pot from Cuong Do during Razz:

Phil Hellmuth: "Geez, they're showing down full houses over here!"

John Juanda: "Yeah, but they're small full houses."

They are showing 8 hours of the final table on TV, which is pretty much the only way to do it if it is all HORSE. Probably they want more prize money at the final table to make things more dramatic.

I'm very happy ESPN will showing so much of this event this year. Especially since it wont be just a NL table.

They pretty much have to show most of the hands since it is going to be HORSE. Otherwise, it gets too choppy switching between games.

It should be interesting for poker players and also make a good show with the big names.
